If you or a loved one suffers from debilitating seizures, you’ll want to check out this clip from a recent episode of The Doctors. Here, you’ll meet Zariah – a toddler suffering from 75-150 seizures per day. When conventional medications fail to help Zariah, her guardian turns to CBD as a treatment for seizures — with amazing results.

What is CBD?

CBD, also known as cannabidiol, is an oil that is not like traditional marijuana and doesn’t cause users to become high. It’s frequently used to treat a variety of issues, including epilepsy, anxiety, vomiting, nausea, psychotic disorders, and numerous other ailments. Now, in this clip, we learn that some medical professionals are using CBD as a treatment for seizures. It seems to be working — because Zariah’s quality of life appears to have greatly improved.

While there are no long-term studies on the effects of CBD, a wide number of small-scale studies indicate doses up to 1,500mg per day are well tolerated by humans.

In fact, in another episode of The Doctors, Dr. Bonnie Goldstein explains that she’s been able to treat over 400 children suffering from treatment-resistant epilepsy using CBD. Dr. Goldstein has not found any long-term side effects from the regimen in the five years CBD has been available. The doctor feels that CBD has been effective treatment to help her patients control the effects of their disorder — including seizures.

As always, you should consult your doctor or medical professional before trying CBD. Check out the full video of Zariah’s segment on The Doctors below. If you decide to give CBD a try, always order from a trusted seller.
