HorizonTech is a brand that consistently produces high-quality vaping technology. They list their company vision on their website, stating that they wish “to be a respected industrial leader” while providing customers with “high-quality products.” If you ask us, HorizonTech does just that. A more recent innovation was the introduction of some new coil technology with their Arco sub-ohm tanks. Although I highly respected the Arco and the Arco II, the HorizonTech Falcon Sub-Ohm Tank is a vast improvement. This unassuming tank doesn’t look like anything special, as the design is very similar to most other sub-ohms on the market, but don’t let that fool you. The Falcon is one of the best performing sub-ohm tanks out there right now. Here are three reasons why the HorizonTech Falcon Sub-Ohm Tank is well worth the money.

1. A Quality Build with a Wide Fill Port

The design on the HorizonTech Falcon is simple, but that simplicity allows it to work well with just about any mod you can think of. It’s available in several color choices, so there’s still an opportunity to customize your mod and tank combo to your liking. It has a 5ml juice capacity. You can purchase a bubble glass if you’d like a greater capacity, which is always a plus. The tank itself feels and looks well-built. Once you start vaping with it, you really get a feel for how well this tank was designed. It’s built to last! And that’s always a huge factor for purchasing vape tanks.

This may not be a plus for some of you, but the Falcon uses an older design in terms of top fill. You can unscrew the top in order to access the fill ports. It might be a slight inconvenience, but it’s hardly noticeable because HorizonTech’s threading on the Falcon tank is really smooth. It’s not difficult to remove, and once it’s screwed back on it stays put. The top fill ports (there are two) are extremely large, which means that this tank is easy to fill and accommodates just about any e-liquid bottle’s nozzle. Because it offers such a wide top fill system, you won’t have to worry about flooding the tank or leaking juice everywhere when filling it up.

2. The HorizonTech Falcon Coils

The HorizonTech Arco and Arco II used coils made of a flax paper and cotton blend. With the HorizonTech Falcon Sub-Ohm Tank, they decided to switch it up and give vapers even more coil options. When you purchase the Falcon tank, it comes with two coils: the F1 coil, which is a 0.2ohm 70% cotton and 30% wood pulp coil, and the M1 mesh coil, which uses a mesh design as well as the 70/30 cotton and wood pulp materials. These two coil options are fantastic on flavor, especially the M1. The mesh combined with the cotton and wood pulp works insanely well. You’re right, who would have ever thought about using wood pulp in a coil? But honestly, the blend of materials does make quite the difference on the quality of flavor.

Also available for purchase are the F2 coils (a natural flax fiber is used for this one) and the F3 coils (a blend of flax fiber and flax paper). Both of these coils are home-runs as well, but the F1 and the M1 are the coils that really blow some competitor tanks out of the water.

3. Excellent on Flavor

As we’ve already touched on, the HorizonTech Falcon produces some amazing flavor due to the coil options available. Because these coils are so good, I am not so certain the flavor would be quite as intense with different coil materials. What really does make this tank a flavor beast are the M1 and the F1 coils, because the wood pulp and cotton combination absorbs the e-liquid effortlessly. HorizonTech calls the absorption a microporous process. Clearly, what they created works, because these materials are able to not only better absorb e-liquid, but also enhance the flavor profiles of your e-juice.

The HorizonTech Falcon Sub-Ohm tank is honestly one of the best tanks out there if you’re looking for amazing flavor, as well as a longer coil lifespan. The Falcon coils last anywhere from 5 to 10 days, which is not the longest lifespan but is better than a lot of other coils out there. In terms of original design, the Falcon is lacking, but the function of this tank reigns supreme. If you’re big on flavor, go get yourself a HorizonTech Falcon. It’s around $25 and provides great bang for your buck.
