This is a vape juice that I came across while searching for some really unique flavors. I hadn’t heard of Budget E-Liquid before, nor have I been able to find much on this brand and who they are. Nonetheless, their juices are carried on a few popular sites, and after giving this a try, I knew this was something other vapers could grow to love. If you like the idea of a floral and fruit mix, Hi-Fi by Budget E-Liquid may be your next favorite juice.

Packaging and Branding

The label design of Hi-Fi by Budget E-Liquid is similar to their other juices. There is a small seal to the top left. Centered at the top is an antique scroll with the flavor name “Hi-Fi.” That’s about where the similarity will stop to their other juices. Hi-Fi features a striking graphic of what I assume is meant to be an outdoor café. The image is nice and evokes an earlier time, with the man and the woman both wear very era-specific clothing.

It’s clean packaging, but still has a uniqueness to it, as well as an eye-catching design. I do think they could do a better job of making this more brand specific.

The Flavor

What really sold me on this e-liquid was the flavor description. Hi-Fi by Budget E-Liquid is said to be a “crispy cucumber with hibiscus-infused with sweet honeysuckle and ripe fig.” It’s quite an unusual combination, so I was eager to see how this really vaped.

Vaping Hi-Fi by Budget E-Liquid

I should mention that Hi-Fi by Budget E-Liquid is made with nicotine salts, but the nicotine levels remain low and it still has a higher VG ratio to PG, so this is considered a sub-ohm salt juice. This mean that you should be safe vaping this e-liquid with a sub-ohm device, as well as a pod mod or nic-salt specific device. I purchased a 3mg nicotine of Hi-Fi and decided to vape this with an Augvape Skynet Sub-Ohm Mesh Tank on my SMOK Mag Grip Mod. The Skynet coils have great flavor integrity, even at just 60W.

I wish I could accurately describe my initial reaction to this e-liquid flavor. I really wasn’t sure what to make of it at first. It was sweet but remained refreshing, and ultimately unlike any juice combination I’d tried before. On the inhale, I could really taste the figs, as well as honeysuckle. In the middle, the hibiscus became more apparent, and finally, the exhale brings that floral and fig mixture with a cucumber finish.

Cloud Production

Hi-Fi by Budget E-Liquid is a 70/30 VG/PG blend. I got some sizable clouds out of this juice. It’s easy to fill a room with, but nothing that’ll knock your socks off.

If You’re Looking for Florals and Fruits, This is Hard to Beat

I know that there may not be a huge market for floral-based flavors, but when you combine honeysuckle and hibiscus with figs and cucumber, this is almost like a fruit tea infusion you could find at a hipster café. Whether or not that’s your thing, this is a unique juice with a surprisingly good balance of flavor. I only wish that there was a slightly stronger cucumber on the finish. Otherwise, it’s pretty spot on. For the price of $19.99 for 120ml bottle, why wouldn’t you want to give Hi-Fi by Budget E-Liquid a try?
