Creamy banana filling poured over a flaky homemade pie shell. The 15th by Broke Dick E-Liquid is sure to impress!

First Impressions:

Ok, I’ll be honest. When I first saw the branding of the Broke Dick line-up, I was not thrilled. However, after hearing the background story from the owner (yes, he seriously took the time to give me a brief summary!), I completely changed my mind. Since than, the company has re-labelled their bottles using different graphics (#rebrand), but has stuck with the original name; and I don’t mind it one bit!

Flavor Profile:

Banana cream pie covered in peanut butter.  The Greatest mix since rhythm & blues paired with country to make Rock-n-Roll.  A flavor even The King himself couldn’t resist.  Read the reviews — this is an AMAZING flavor.

Smell:

Notes of freshly picked ripe banana and a light crust in the foreground. This one smells sweet; but it’s more of a natural fruit sweetness than an artificial one.

My Setup:

Dual Fused Claptons on the deck of the Twisted Messes RDA, pulsed on the Lavabox DNA 200 at 50-60w.

Flavor:

Front – fresh ripened banana mixed with a nice bread note. Hints of what would appear to be vanilla bean as well. The vape actually reminds me of homemade banana bread straight out of the oven. Very low sugar level at this point.

Middle – The bread/crust note has more of a phyllo dough feel than anything (slightly flaky on the outside, softer on the inside), and doesn’t have much flavor. A creamy note enters the scene here and mingles with the banana, creating a topping of sorts: milk, blended whole banana, sugar. Even with the banana icing addition, the sugar level remains extremely low. It’s hard to differentiate between the fresh banana and icing, but they are both present throughout the vape.

End – The banana was most noticeable for me here. It’s not quite overpowering, but does have a slight liquor characteristic to it (that I actually enjoy). The crust notes have backed down substantially. Very good flavor.

Aftertaste – Perfect. For a banana cream pie e-liquid, The 15th by Broke Dick serves up a lot of big flavors. The sugar level remains low throughout the vape, keeping the aftertaste super clean.

Cloud Production:

For a 70/30 blend vaped on a dual coil build at 55watts, the cloud production was nothing spectacular. But I wasn’t really expecting much.

Final Thoughts:

I never picked up on the peanut butter addition mentioned in the flavor profile. However, It should be noted, that I tested an old version of The 15th by Broke Dick (before the #rebrand). The company may have completely overhauled their flavors, and added a peanut butter note to the 15th. Quite unfortunate really, Peanut butter banana sandwiches are ones of my all time favorite snack foods, and just so happen to be my favorite e-juice flavor combination.
