Vaporesso may not be known for their pod devices or all-in-ones compared to their tanks or box mods, but they’re doing a good job at catering to different types of vapers these days. Their Renova Zero Pod System is certainly one of my favorite pod mods I’ve tried in a good while. The Vaporesso Aurora Play All-In-One System is modeled after their original Aurora device. But this is a step above the older AIO in many ways. Think you’d like to own an AIO for yourself? Read on for four features we love about the Vaporesso Aurora Play All-in-One System.

1. The Zippo-Like Design is Actually Classy

While the original Aurora AIO had a similar design, the Vaporesso Aurora Play AIO is a fine-tuned, striking version. The shape is like a zippo lighter, flip top and all. But the edges of this system are rounded. The curvature not only makes it more comfortable to hold but also gives it a higher-class feel. The four color options are all mature in style. There is a rainbow, bronze, and silver, but my favorite is the metallic grey that features a flowing pattern.

2. The OMNI Board Mini Chipset

Not only do you get a bunch of safety protections, but the OMNI Board Mini also provides a quick-charging capability. With this 1A charging, you can fully charge the Vaporesso Aurora Play All-in-One System in just 45 minutes.

3. The CCELL Integrated Coil Options of the Pods

The pods for the Vaporesso Aurora Play AIO System have an integrated CCELL coil. Vaporesso’s CCELL coils have gotten some decent notoriety. Instead of the usual cotton wicking material, these use a porous ceramic. Typically, they do seem to wick a bit faster than a traditional coil and take less time to break-in.

Plus, you have two options available to you. The included pod in the kit is the 1.3-ohm MTL pod, meant for nicotine salts. But they also offer a separate pod with a 0.65-ohm resistance for freebase nicotine liquids. When you use the 0.65-ohm pod, you can fire up to 20W for more of a sub-ohm experience. Though most, I feel, would prefer to stick with the MTL pod, it’s nice to have the option available.

4. The Top Filling System

Usually, pods have their filling port located on the bottom. That means you have to remove it from the device, flip it upside down, and proceed to fill with caution. Vaporesso designed the Aurora Play AIO’s pods differently. The filling port is located on the top of the pod. You simply push your dripper into the fill port, making sure the port is opening up, and fill. It’s a lot nicer to be able to quickly fill a pod without having to remove it from the device, especially if you are in a hurry.

5. The Power Button

While this is a draw activated system, there is also a power button on the Vaporesso Aurora Play. That means that if you aren’t using it, you may be able to save some extra battery power by clicking it five times to turn it off. While I don’t mind devices that are draw activated and have no on/off function, I do prefer to turn something off when I’m not using it.

The Vaporesso Aurora Play All-in-One System Is Sleek and Discreet

If you want an AIO that is easy to carry around but still has some nice weight to it, the Aurora Play is perfect. With its zippo-like design, everything is concealed and protected while the flip top is closed. Open it, and you’re ready to vape. The CCELL pods provide great flavor and have a lifespan of about two weeks with light to moderate use. The option of a freebase pod, as well as one for nicotine salts, means that you can change it up. The Aurora Play AIO System is very easy to use, charges quickly, and vapes smooth.
